Welcome to S&S Kennels, a family owned business in Brookings, South Dakota. My name is Paul Sterud, Founder and owner. I was born and raised in Brookings on a farm that I am now fortunate enough to call the home of S&S Kennels. Growing up on the farm, and being in 4-H taught me many great life lessons that has help me achieve my goals. Hunting has always been a passion of mine, and there is no better than hunting partner than your best friend, a lab. I have had the opportunity to take what I learned in 4-H and on the farm about animal care, quality nutrition, individual specific feeding, and the importance of quality breeding stock and combine it with my passion of hunting and labs. With this knowledge and the combined experience within the S&S program S&S kennels strives to produce High Performance labs out of proven hunting lines and, through responsible breeding, all health clearances and certificates to guarantee all of our clients a great hunting partner for many years to come.
